Some Of My Other Great Bands

Over the years, I have played a lot of very different musical styles with a wide variety of groups. From avant garde jazz to rhythm and blues, Hindustani raga, world fusion and stadium rock, I’ve found a place to make a contribution and/or get an education.

Check out the bands in this section, some of the music is pretty strange, and some of it is recorded really badly, but the spirit always comes shining through. And be sure to check the video of me getting to play with Dizzy Gillespie and James Moody on the Bobo page.

About these pages

This is the oddball section, a ragtag collection of musical mayhem and mastery. There are some wonderful moments in these recording. The recording quality is all over the map; there are some from $29 cassette recorders and others from $100K multi-track studio behemoths.
